Lennar Celebrates “Great Community Day” This Saturday In South Florida

June 23, 2009 - PRLog -- MIAMI, Fla. – The Southeast Florida division of Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, is hosting “Great Community Day” this Saturday, June 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at four of its South Florida communities.

Lennar is urging all South Floridians seeking an afternoon of fun to invite their friends and family to attend any or all of the four Lennar communities hosting an array of exciting events this Saturday. Each of the communities will be hosting a community block party featuring a live radio remote with Cox Radio Stations and the chance to win $10,000‡ in an instant scratch off game!

At Paloma Lakes on Lyons Road and Wiles Road in Coconut Creek come out and watch as one lucky South Floridian may walk away with a brand new South Florida home at the Roll The Dice Home Giveaway event. Cheer on finalists as they try to spell out L-E-N-N-A-R with each dice roll. Plus, WHQT 105.1 Rodney Baltimore, Broward Sherriff’s Office, Coconut Creek Parks Department, Cherry Blossom Studios and Broward County Commissioner Kristen Jacobs will be on hand greeting visitors. There will be car safety seat checks, complimentary fingerprint identification for kids, card-making kits, Caribbean food sampling and much more.

Cambridge Park in Oakland Park Boulevard and NW 31st Street will feature Shelby Rushin from WEDR 99.1 spinning the latest tunes, Wal-Mart providing food samples, Broward County Transit, Oakland Park Flea Market offering gift certificates, Bank United, City of Oakland Park representatives, plus Broward Sheriff’s Office, Oakland Park Vice Mayor Allegra Webb and Oakland Park Commissioner Suzanne Boisvenue will all be joining us in the celebration.

In Miami at Silver Palms on SW 238th  Street  and SW 112th Avenue, WFLC 97.3 will be broadcasting live and Mobile Mike will be onsite with his ice cream truck. Local area businesses at the event include, First National Bank of South Florida, 24 Hour Fitness, Badcock Home Furnishing Center, Vera Buick-Pontiac-GMC & Saturn of South Miami-Dade, Ogee Paint and Peterson’s Harley-Davidson.

At The Isles at Oasis at SW 320th Street and SW 152nd Avenue in Homestead, Erin Lee from WHDR 93.1 will host the event that will include the Homestead Speedway promotions team and a racecar on display. Robeks Fruit Smoothie will provide drink samples.
