Chris Dane serenades a Top 10 finalist
For over three decades Danfranc Productions has produced the Annual Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant. Not your typical "beauty pageant" the Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant is more about substance, and competing for thousands in college scholarships. There has not been a swimsuit competition for over 20 years in the event. Contestants enjoy a three day weekend networking with other outstanding young women from every corner of the Golden State in an atmosphere of fun, friendship and good will. The reigning Miss Teenage California 2009 is Brittany Chen, who represented Cerritos at the state pageant. She is typical of the caliber of young women who participate annually. Not simply a pretty face, she is an excellent student who excels in many school and community activities.
Miss Teenage Calfiornia 2010 will win a $10,000 College Scholarship to the college of her choice, or choose a $7,000 Cash opt out prize. She will also win the right to compete in the annual Miss Teen Earth-United States Pageant, enjoy a $1,000 Shopping Spree at the Beverly Center- Beverly Hills, and receive an assortment of other prizes. What makes Miss Teenage California Pageant unique is that their are no local pageants to enter. A potential contestant applies directly to the state pageant office. It is not a winner take all pageant. The four runners up win college scholarships of $4,000, $3,000, $2,000, and $1,200 respectively. In fact those girls who make the top 10 are assured of at least a $1,000 College Scholarship.

Founder Frank Lameira was a 1997 inductee into the Performing Arts Hall of Fame for his contribution to education through the arts. For over three decades Danfranc Productions has produced and directed countless special events and competitions honoring our youth. We are not affiliated with the Donald Trump Pageants. We have been an independent state pageant since founded in 1980.
