New Jersey Salt Creek Grille, Rumson, Names New Executive Chef

Salt Creek Grille is pleased to announce a new executive chef and two new sous chefs at the award-winning waterfront American grille located in Rumson, New Jersey
 
June 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Bob Belt was named Executive Chef at the Salt Creek Grille, Rumson, New Jersey. Chef Belt has worked as Sous Chef at Salt Creek Grille since 2002. He is a 1998 graduate of Pittsburg Institute of Culinary Arts and resides in Belmar with his wife Nicole. Chef Belt will supervise all aspects of the kitchen, which serves up to 500 a la carte dinners on a weekend night and private dining room for guests up to 150. The Salt Creek Grille’s menu centers around a unique authentic mesquite wood grill, which imparts a delicious subtle flavor to meats, fish and chicken cooked over the open fire. The restaurant with a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list, is a popular dining establishment – which opened its doors in April 1998 – and is located on the historic Navesink River with dock and dine option. Keating has been with Salt Creek Grill for one year and is a graduate of the Culinary Education Center of Monmouth County, Asbury Park. Cardenas has been employed at Salt Creek Grille for six years and has earned his promotion ”the old fashioned way” by working and mastering every position in the back of the house. His specialty is grill master of the Salt Creek Grille’s natural-fueled Mesquite wood grille.
