Exercise/Physical Therapy Talk for Seniors Scheduled in New Hyde Park, New York

June 23, 2009 - PRLog -- A presentation highlighting exercise and physical activity for seniors will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the Parkville branch of the Great Neck Public Library at 10 Campbell Street in New Hyde Park. The talk  is a "Health Chat" event  that is part of  the Town of North Hempstead's  Project Independence.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Vinod Somareddy (DPT) of Reddy-Care Physical Therapy in Great N eck. Dr. Somareddy's topic will be " Safe and Effective Physical Activity and Exercise for the Aging Adult."  Reddy-Care is a leading physical therapy practice specializing in manual therapy to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Somareddy speaks frequently to senior groups on similar topics.
