James Taylor will also be at Tanglewood three additional nights offering “James Taylor: Conversations Among Friends” when he’ll be joined for an informal evening with members of his band (8/27), two concerts with Taylor, his band and guests Sheryl Crow and Yo-Yo Ma (8/28-29).
Other special appearances throughout the summer at Tanglewood include the Mark Morris Dance Group (8/5-6), Garrison Keillor’s 12th annual broadcast of Prairie Home Companion (6/27), Tony Bennett (7/21), Diana Krall on the 4th of July complete with fireworks at the end of the evening, and many more wonderful classical, jazz and modern music performers. Tanglewood is just one of the great reasons that the Berkshires is the summer place to be.
