While some people are struggling to earn dollars marketing on Twitter, the good news is that there may be some respite on the horizon – at least, that’s the claim being made by one company.
According to a client study, web traffic provider and promoter uSocial.net claim that conversion rates are increasing steadily as more and more people begin using Twitter, which is fast becoming one of the largest sites on the Internet.
“We recently conducted a study with several of our clients and it seems that on average, response rates to promotions on Twitter are increasing.”
Hill believes that this is due to the fact that people are becoming more comfortable with buying products and services being referred to them from Twitter.
“Despite the fact that spam is still on the rise, people are seeming to block it out more and are focusing on what they believe are legitimate offers.” Said Hill.
The study was conducted with five of uSocial’s existing clients in several industries including marketing and fashion and the rise in response was recorded over just about every industry and account.
“The only thing we advise to people who are looking to market on Twitter is to offer your clients legitimate offers,” continued Hill. “We’ve been finding that providing our clients aren’t looking like spammers, users will definitely pick up on this.”
uSocial recently launched a new suite of products aimed at marketing on the site, including giving their clients the ability to buy Twitter followers. The company claims that despite the new service only been in operation for several weeks, it’s by far their most popular service they offer.
