Recent scientific evidence suggests that chemicals like Phthalates and Bisphenol-A (BPA), designed to soften plastics, could pose real harm to young children. According to The National Toxicology Program, which is part of the National Institutes of Health, based on animal studies, there is "evidence that Bisphenol-A has adverse effects on development"
