Shannon-The World's Greatest Beatles Artist
Beatles artwork by the world famous artist Shannon has been chosen by radio station KODJ of Salt Lake City to appear in a commercial that will be making its debut at the Stadium of Fire Concert. The 30 second ad will promote ‘Beatles, Basketball & The Breakfast Club-London Edition’ - a 6 day tour of London sponsored by the radio station and Hosted by their morning show Harmon and the Breakfast Club.
Shannon will be flying in from her home-state of New Jersey to attend the concert. She is currently scheduling interviews and appearances throughout the July 4th weekend.
“It gives me great pleasure to know my artwork will be bigger than life, shared with the Jonas brothers on the jumbotron at LaVell Edwards Stadium, and seen by millions including our military men and women all around the world”, says Shannon. “It is truly special to me because I am back in the USA and just in time for the celebration of our independence.”
In 1997, the title of 'The World’s Greatest Beatles Artist' was bestowed upon Shannon by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool. Shannon has spent the last two years creating 110 paintings for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool. In August 2009, she will be the first non-musician to have her name put on a brick in the wall of the Cavern Club in Liverpool.
The 29th Annual Stadium of Fire concert starring the Jonas Brothers, SheDaisy and hosted by Glenn Beck will be on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 8 P.M. at BYU Lavell Edwards Stadium, Provo, Utah. The concert will be broadcast to U.S. Military men and women around the world.
