PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 22, 2009 – Hauppauge, New York, - ION Computer Systems, Inc. today unveiled its SR-71 SpeedServer™.  The SR-71 has an array of twenty four (24) of the highest performing Intel® X25-E solid state disks along with the latest Intel Xeon processors and serverboard in a new, compact 2U (3.5”) high chassis.   This combination of technologies delivers very high transaction rates measured in I/O operations per second (IOPS) at an affordable price.
