According to survey results recently released by popular kid’s virtual world “Franktown Rocks” (www.franktownrocks.com)
“Kids love to participate in our polls,” says Rob Solberg, Franktown founder and President. “We can gather 5,000 votes in the span of just a few days…and the results are always fascinating!
Franktown’s primary demographic is kid’s 9-12 and recent voting results show a focused gender demographic. “70% of our players are female. In fact, our core user is a 10-year old girl,” says Solberg.
Other poll results showed Nike as the most favored sport shoe, commanding 45% of the vote over brands such as Skechers (11%) Vans (7%) and Adidas (5%). In the food category, McDonald’s decidedly trumped its competitors with 55% of the votes for “Favorite Fast-Food Burger” over Burger King (14%), Wendy’s (9%), and Sonic (6%).
Does McDonald’s really make the best fast-food burger? Who knows? Perception may indeed be the true virtual reality.
