Hb Hazelbrook Farm Launches New Playdate Website

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 22, 2009 – Clinical Psychologist David Coleman and celebrity mums Lorraine Keane and Vivienne Connolly have collaborated with HB Hazelbrook Farm to share their advice and experience in relation to the hugely popular Playdate, a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly important in the social development of children in Ireland. Parents can access a wealth of information on how to face the challenges that the Playdates present, including suggestions on how to prepare for a Playdate, how to entertain children during a Playdate as well as some healthy HB Hazelbrook Farm snack suggestions, including that old favourite, the Wafer Sandwich.

David Coleman shares his insights into Playdates with parents: “It really helps when you know the parent of the child who is coming over for the date. That way you are more likely to be aware of their child’s fads, fussiness or importantly allergies. If you don’t know the other parent, then invite them to come with their child on the first date and to stay for a cup of tea, a scoop of HB ice-cream or both. Their presence will help their child to settle and will let you get to know their child better.”
