World Hails India's First Crime Minister!

June 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Comic Pundit Peru expressed shock and surprise at being named as India's first Crime Minister, a title he so graciously conferred on himself this morning, 0400 hrs Indian Standard Time.

The world watched as tears streamed down the cheeks of the politician who waved to the millions standing in the rain outside India's historic Red Fort.  The foreign press were housed in a large vat shaped garbage collection enclosure shielded from the rain by a giant white canopy on which was painted a large bulls eye. Above flew Indian Air Force bombers, menacingly.

Amidst thunderous cheers of "please exploit us more'" and melodious strains of "do it to me one more time" the crowd clapped and cheered the nation's most loved politician to the microphone where he stood giving the people his signature middle finger salute which thrilled them to no end!

This is indeed a historic day for the world's increasingly larger democracy and world leaders  joined religious heads in congratulating the minister.

"The US is delighted with India' selection and looks forward to even better relations with India...or......Pakistan," said the White House.

British PM Gordon Brownie said: "Pundit Peru has continued the good work of divide and rule the British left unfinished when we left India. He is a true ambassador of British values."

A message from the Vatican said, "Ze Holy Father ist goot and sends zis blessings to Pundit Peru applauding his handling of the Orissa issue. Blessed are ze poor for thzey weel inherit the earth.....and nothing else."

Iranian President  Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he would share with Pundit Peru his patented "free and fair" election mechanisms and invited the minister's views on his gripping new best seller "Religion Race and Riots".

Ex-Prime Minister of Thailand Thaksin said: "Money laundering is a serious art and encourage the crime minister to embrace the hobby wholeheartedly."

Pakistani president Asif Ali Zadari said he was proud to have a 'soul mate' in India's new Crime Minister. Along with my friends the Taliban, I look forward to continued relations with India as the two leaders sow more Indo-Pak discord while lining our own pockets! Oh..i am so thrilled!"

Pundit Peru gave his first interview to the BCC even as congratulatory massages were flooding in. "Since independence the Indian people have elected leaders sworn to steal from the country, murder the innocent and abuse the trust of the masses. This time, i am pleased to say, they will finally be satisfied. As a people we are complacent hence my slogan of "Chalta-Hai-Chalne-Do" and we love to be shafted -- a fact that has heavily influenced my party logo -- the Middle Finger!"
