FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jun 21, 2009 – Testimonials:

Dear Mr. Lameira,
I would just like to express my gratitude to you and your fantastic program, which I was so fortunate to have participated in. I appreciate Danfranc Productions for stressing the importance of pursuing a college education.  I have had a wonderful journey at UC Berkeley. I have opened my mind and heart to so many new ideas and experiences and I feel confident in beginning this new chapter in my life. I value my Miss Teenage California  experience for instilling some of this confidence in me, and in so many other promising young women. Thank you for your dedication to this program and for the professionalism with which you handled the awarding of scholarship money each semester.

Best Wishes,
Marguerite Munoz
2nd Runner Up
Miss Teenage California 2005

Dear Danfranc Productions,

What I like best is the fact that teens that compete in the Miss Teenage California Program do not have a swimsuit competition. Your prizes are great too! Better than any of the others I can find in California. Continued success. I've heard nothing but great things about your program from educators and former contestants. Continued best wishes.

Sincerely,
Rachel Kaye Butler, Educator.

Dear Mr. Lameira,

Our daughter, Taylor (Miss Teen Folsom) was a delegate in this year’s Miss Teenage California Pageant. We were a bit hesitant when she told us she wanted to compete this year, as she is only 13 and we felt she might be too young. We were wrong. From the moment she walked on stage and delivered her speech, we knew she was having the time of her life! We were so impressed with all of the amazing young women that were contestants. Thank you for providing a venue for beautiful, ambitious, and distinguished young ladies to shine and be recognized. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Taylor made new friends and gained self -confidence. She is so proud to be among those recognized in the top 30. She has already marked her calendar for next year’s event. You really put on a first class pageant. From the moment she received her acceptance letter to the announcement of this year’s queen, we felt the professionalism and excitement of Danfranc Productions. We can’t wait to see you next year.

Regards,
Theresa Kandris
Folsom, CA

Dear Mr. Frank Lameira, & wonderful staff of Danfranc Productions,

First and foremost I wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a apart of the 2009 Miss Teenage California Pageant. It was truly a wonderful and memorable experience to have joined this contest.

With a very hectic schedule in store for all of us I came into this contest nervous, but with an open mind and a positive attitude and with the help and support of your staff. With the fun events planned, I was able to break away from my comfort zone and feel like this pageant was not just about winning, but about being yourself.

I believe that you have outdone yourself, Mr. Lameira and I strongly encourage you to continue to recognize girls for their leadership skills, ability and dreams to continue their education. Although I did not win the crown and title, making it to the top 10 just made me feel great about myself and what I have accomplished. My award of $1,000 will surely help me a lot as I continue on with my education to better prepare me for the future.

Sincerely,
Linsey Atis
Miss Teen Vallejo 2009

Dear Mr. Lameira,
Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity to participate in the 2009 Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant. It was such a rewarding and memorable experience. The production you put on was so professional and magnificent- really honored the girls representing the youth of California. I made some lasting friendships. it was such an amazing experience. Thank you so much! Hope to see you next year.

All the best,
Ashley Twomey
Miss Teen San Diego County 2009

Dear Danfranc Productions,
Words cannot express the positive feelings our family had in watching the 2009 Miss Teenage California Pageant. The girls were fresh-faced, energetic and the entire production was age appropriate. The entertainment was sensational and the caliber of young ladies competing second to none.  As a school teacher we were there to support a candidate from the Riverside area. Although she didn't place, she had a fantastic time. Thank you for bringing joy to so many through this wonderful program that rewards young womanhood.

Sincerely,
Diana West

Dear Danfranc Productions,
I competed in Miss Teenage California five years ago. To this day I remember my roommate Claire and the fun we had talking about our adventures in school, our future goals, and of course laughing all night with our sister contestants. I have been in two other pageants since Miss Teenage California. Miss Teenage California was my first pageant. Miss Teenage California was the pageant I had the most fun in, met the nicest girls, and was clearly the most professional. The staff was amazing. My chaperone was terrific, and the encouragement we received all along the way was heartwarming. I suppose perhaps one day I might have my own daughter. I hope Miss Teenage California is still around, because I would want my daughter to be involved. The prizes are wonderful, but more than that it was a stepping-stone in helping me with my confidence. I was that shy girl before the pageant, but I blossomed that weekend into the young woman I am today, confident, goal oriented and involved in my community. I would like to wish all of this year's contestants the very best. It's true what Mr. Lameira told us at orientation. "We only succeed when we try." Good luck ladies. I am proud of you!

Sincerely,
Evelyn M. Chan

I am writing to tell you that Audra (Wiley) Padget graduated from the University of Virginia Law School this May 19 and successfully passed the North Carolina Bar exam.  She had a wonderful experience in your pageants and learned many valuable life lessons while competing.  She was 4th Runner Up in 1999 and 1st Runner up to Carmella Papaleo in 2000.  She won a total of $5000.00 in scholarships and put the money to good use.  I will always recommend your pageants to anyone looking for a great pageant experience in California.  Thank you for your contribution in helping shape the wonderful person Audra is today!

Sincerely,
Heidi Beeman  ( Mom )

Dear Danfranc Productions,
Thank you for giving my daughter the unique and enviable opportunity to compete in your program. This was her very first pageant. She left with a renewed self-confidence, and new friendships. The staff was exceptional and so professional. Any and all questions were quickly answered. I would like to wish you continued success. The contestants were dynamic, healthy, goal-oriented, energetic young women. You should be very proud of the reputation and success you have had over three decades. As a school teacher I will spread the word about the Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant to my fellow students and teachers.

Respectfully,
Elizabeth Harrison
