NEW YORK – Aysha Saeed, an up and coming New York City designer, has joined forces with Bpeace for the Summer ’09 Fashion for Charity event being held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Nikki Beach Manhattan.
The organization is near and dear to Ms. Saeed’s heart, as it helps women entrepreneurs in post-conflict countries. As a Pakistani born American designer, Aysha Saeed understands that “starting your own business is one of the biggest challenges in life, yet the sense of accomplishment that comes with it, is the most rewarding feeling. It feels great to be able to help woman in Afghanistan become one step closer to achieving this.”
At Fashion for Charity, guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails followed by, a sit down dinner and Aysha Saeed’s Summer 2009 collection runway show with America’s Next Top Model stars strutting down the catwalk, all emceed by ABC’s Heidi Jones. Throughout the evening, guests will have a chance to purchase various products and services donated by local vendors for the Bpeace Beauty Bar. The evening will be entertaining, yet informative and will bring together 200 fashionistas and charity goers alike.
