e2 Digital Marketing, LLC launches new grass roots "Links for Jobs" campaign to stimulate the Charlotte economy and create or save local jobs.
Nobody questions the fact that the recession has devastated the real estate industry nation wide, Charlotte is no exception. Although Charlotte's real estate market is down compared to pre-recession times, Charlotte's real estate market is relatively strong compared to other regions of the country.
One of the most overlooked segments, and the segment that has the most impact on job creation and job retention is in the new home construction industry. Thousands of jobs in the local area have been lost as a result of fewer homes being built.
It is estimated that every new home built equates to about 2.5 jobs in the local economy.
When people hear about builders downsizing, or going out of business, they forget that about 90% of the jobs go to subcontractors and not the actual builder. They are the roofers, plumbers, electricians, framers, painters, cement workers, product manufacturers... well you get the picture... its your friends and relatives and the guy who lives down the street who all lost their jobs as the housing market collapsed.
Now, lets not forget about the trickle down. Less jobs = less money in the local economy = more job loss in every business sector.
Our "Links for Jobs" campaign is very simple and allows small business owners, civic and church organizations, bloggers, and private citizens to get involved and have an impact on creating jobs in the local area.
To participate, just put the following link on your website: http://BuildersDirectOnline.com
This site is a new home search engine that allows the general public to learn more about new construction and new homes for sale in the Charlotte Market.
Besides your website, put it in your blogs, share it with your facebook friends and ask them to share the link. Do what ever you can to help get housing moving again and get people back to work.
Fixing Housing is a top priority of the government, but it is you, your neighbor and everyday Americans that will be most effective in creating jobs.
