This pair of early 20th century candlesticks was made by the Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence Rhode Island and retailed by Shreve, Crump and Low of Boston. They are beautifully made and are a reproduction of an earlier Georgian style. The candlesticks are replicas of Greek columns with a Corinthian capital and fluted columnar stems on circular bases raised on stepped square bases with beaded border. The chamfered and beaded bordered bobeches are detachable. Height: 8 ¼ inches. The sticks are of heavy gauge but are weighted. Condition: Very Good, with minor imperfections on underside of base.
