Homeland HealthCare, the healthcare industry’s leading provider of affordable limited health insurance coverage, will occupy 25,000 square-feet of premium office space on the third floor of Building M in September. Cobra Trading, a web-based trading platform for stocks and options, has signed a lease to occupy 1,966 square-feet.
Adding to an already impressive roster of retailers including Market Street, Borders, DSW and Sephora, Watters Creek is pleased to announce that Apricot Lane, Filthy Rich, Luke’s Locker, Allen Yoga Center and Red Mango have signed leases. Opening in June, Filthy Rich specializes in replicas of jewelry worn by the stars. Scheduled to open in September are Apricot Lane, known for their trendy fashions and accessories, and Luke’s Locker, the regions leader in specialty running and fitness footwear and clothing. Allen Yoga Center moves into a new permanent space this fall, offering hatha, hot yoga and vinyasa. The fast-growing frozen yogurt chain Red Mango will open its first location in North Texas at Watters Creek this fall.
The new tenant mix and addition of several free family events, including Big Screen on the Green and Live! On the Green, have increased weekly traffic counts by over 30 percent since March.
“Despite a slow down for other developments in the market, we continue to grow our traffic and tenant roster and are really starting to hit our stride,” said Terry Montesi, Trademark CEO. “In addition to the newly signed leases, we are currently in lease negotiations with several tenants totaling 33,500 square-feet and have now leased 126 residential units. This leasing momentum demonstrates the strength of this new urban neighborhood.”
New stores and restaurants recently opened at Watters Creek include Blue Fish, Village Burger Bar, Charming Charlie, Flirt and Sweet & Sassy. Blue Fish features premium grade sushi and a creative mix of Asian-inspired cuisine. Touting signature burgers with an Uptown twist, Dallas-based Village Burger Bar’s menu also includes specialty sandwiches and salads. These two new eateries join several other best-in-class restaurants including Brio Tuscan Grille, Mi Cocina, Cheesecake Factory and Woodlands Grill.
Further enhancing the shopping experience at Watters Creek are new retailers Charming Charlie, known for their jewelry and accessories at incredible values; Flirt, the go-to place for trendy, affordable and of-the-moment fashions; and Sweet & Sassy, a cutting-edge children’s salon, store and celebration place.
