Sarah-Jayne Gratton, the author of Different Corners, Stuck in the Seventies and the screenplays Roundhouse and Pick Up Truck has been nominated as Best Newcomer by the Federation of International Writers. She is currently holidaying in France with her husband and fellow author, Dean Anthony Gratton and was said to be delighted at the news.
Manager, Ruth Haines, said in a recent interview that "Sarah-Jayne epitomizes just what hard work and commitment to excellence can achieve"
Her daughter, Charlotte will fly over to join them for the awards to be held later this year in New York.
