Principium Launches Business For Sale By Owner Program

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 18, 2009 – Cordova, Tennessee – June 18 - The Principium Group, Inc. announced today the launch of The Principium Business For Sale By Owner Program.  This program, modeled after for sale by owner programs that are popular in the real estate industry, gives business owners who are contemplating selling their business without the use of a broker or intermediary access to the resources of Principium on a very cost-effective basis.
This program is designed for smaller businesses that are likely to be sold to a buyer identified through an advertising process and whose owners feel comfortable representing themselves, qualifying potential buyers and negotiating on their own behalf.
As part of the program, Principium professionals will assist in development of marketing materials for clients, place appropriate internet-based advertising on the client’s behalf and accept inquiries which will be routed to the client for response and follow-up.  Clients will receive a fixed amount of consulting time in connection with each transaction and will have access to additional consulting time at a reasonable cost.  In most cases, this approach will produce a much lower cost to this special class of client than traditional brokerage arrangements.  In addition, fees paid under the business for sale by owner program can be credited against commission-based fees if the business subsequently retains Principium on a traditional basis.
