Terra Verde Architects (TVA) is excited to announce the completion of Victorian Peaks, Parker’s landmark business center in historic old town Parker, Colo.  Offered by The Bridgeport Corporation, Victorian Peaks will be complete and ready for occupancy in November.  Terra Verde Architects designed and provided construction observation starting with its conception in 2006 and continuing into the design and documentation for individual tenants.  The tenant finish work is well underway for the first leased spaces that include offices, retail shops, and restaurants.

This 40,000 square foot mixed use building was built by Mallory Construction and is located in the Victorian Park zoning district adjacent to historic Main Street.  Local zoning code dictates new construction in this district must be built using specific Victorian style forms, massing, and details.  Victorian Peaks seamlessly melds those historic design cues with contemporary construction techniques and systems.  The ‘100 year old skin’ is wrapped around a modern steel and concrete frame with modern insulation and mechanical systems.  This union of classic charm and contemporary performance was key to the original design ideas and the current success of the building.

Terra Verde Architects is a professional design firm with offices in Boulder, Colo., and Minneapolis, Minn. Terra Verde is dedicated to the principles of sustainability and green building practices.  The firm is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Association of Home Builders, the Council of Professional Remodelers, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the United States Green Building Council and Built Green of Colorado.

Individual commercial units are available for lease.  Current lease holders include Keller Williams; Colorado Western Title; Jay Moore Studio; Anest and Brown, PC; World Access; Fly Fish For Life; The Design Studio at Victorian Peaks; and the Doil Storie Insurance Agency.  A new restaurant, bakery, and café owned by Gaspare Licata will also be located in Victorian Peaks and was open in December with a menu that includes fine Italian entrées, sandwiches, salads, deserts, and coffees.  Terra Verde Architects is also excited to have a presence in this beautiful new building.

Victorian Peaks will be the cornerstone for a larger development by The Bridgeport Corporation.  The five acres to the south and east of Victorian Peaks are currently under review for a new mixed use neighborhood of offices, retail, and residential buildings.  When coupled with the existing Main Street businesses, and the planned library and performing arts center, Victorian Park Centre will be a vibrant community built off of the precedent set by Victorian Peaks and the neighboring Victorian structures.

A Grand Opening celebration is currently being planned for Victorian Peaks in the spring of 2009.  Victorian Peaks is located at 11020 S. Pikes Peak Drive in Parker, Colo.  For leasing information contact Jim Anest at 303-638-1186
