As a production company, we know that event design is a difficult process. The
corporate end client is continually wanting to update their event year to year, and private
and family events want to make sure their party is the best possible at their budget.
Additionally, with family events, the “keeping up with the Jones.” factor comes into play
– they want to outdo what their friends have previously done.
The newest trend in event design has its roots in the dance clubs of the 70.s – the lit
dance floor. However, these floors have less in common with their older cousins than
you would think at first glance. The new dance floors are lit with LEDs and computer
controlled, giving the end client far more color selection and pattern options. They also
require far less power and generate less heat than traditional lit dance floors.
“Of course, we see the traditional theme parties.” says Robert Chapman, owner of LED
Party Floors (www.ledpartyfloors.com)
these floors at private and corporate events. We are now doing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
for groups of kids that have never even heard of „Saturday Night Fever.. These kids like
the floor as an ultra-modern LED Dance Floor.”
Wedding planners, brides, and corporate client alike appreciate the floor as a way of
displaying their wedding colors, or promoting a corporate color scheme. With the
flexibility of color and design options, it.s easy to see why these lighted dance floors are
making an industry comeback!
