American artist/ illustrator Alice Mooney Imeson, submits Artwork for first Susan Boyle CD cover.
Seattle, WA – Highly acclaimed Illustrator, Alice Mooney Imeson's latest illustration of Susan Boyle is creating quite a buzz. Susan Boyle achieved instant stardom and worldwide recognition for her participation on the "Britain's Got Talent" television show. Intrigued by the viral impact the demur shy Scot had on the world, Alice was moved to capture Boyle in her work. “She had such strength and character that I knew I had to draw her, I was intrigued by her from the first time I saw her perform.”
Born in Boston and raised in Hingham Massachusetts, Alice Mooney Imeson now lives in the Pacific Northwest on Bainbridge Island. She has been drawing since she could first hold a pencil, ultimately honing her skills as a Graphic Design/Illustration major at The New England School of Art & Design in Boston. Her clients have included the Los Angeles Times, National Review, The Seattle Times, and Warner Bros. Alice has won numerous awards for her work and has had solo shows in Boston, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
