MICHAEL HENDERSON HAS STAYING POWER!  With a career spanning over (4) four decades, in an industry that has seen it’s share of “One Hit Wonders”, this chameleon of music is nothing short of REMARKABLE!!!

Having played, recorded and toured with the likes of Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Detroit Emeralds, The Fantastic Four, Marvin Gaye, The Dramatics, The Originals and more as a TEEN, Michael Henderson’s solo career included many top 10 hit compositions for himself as well as others such as Roberta Flack, “At The Concert” and Phyllis Hyman‘s very first top ten hit song, “We Both Need Each Other” and let us not forget, “Can‘t We Fall In Love Again“!!!  AMAZING!!!  As a young man, he could be seen conferring with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Cosby, Dr. John, Mick Jagger, and many others…

Currently, Michael Henderson has music in the top 10 with new-comers, Noel Gourdin, and stepper’s phenom, “K’Jon.  Sassy neo soul artist Maysa Leak, R & B crooner, Peabo Bryson, (On the new Norman Connors Album, Star Power) Kenny Lattimore, (On his new Album, Timeless) and the smooth Jazz Group, “The Sax Packs”, have all re-recorded the Michael Henderson penned classic, “You Are My Starship!!!”

Michael Henderson brings his flavor to the City of Houston, Friday June 19th (JUNETEENTH) on Houston radio KSTU mornig show (7:00AM-8:00AM), followed by an appearance on the CBS Houston affiliate, KHOU "Texas Breaking News", and the grand finale', Saturday June 20th, much anticipated “LIVE” performance in Houston’s downtown district, at Jesse H.
