New Tour for Twilight Fans

Forks, located on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, is an area only a few outdoor lovers knew about. This enchanted region with its mystical forests and nearby beaches was brought to the attention of travelers all over the world when author Stephenie Meyer told spellbinding stories about teens and their families living in the area. Forks is now a top destination for many who would have never known about the region’s spectacular beauty.

With 22 years of customer service experience in the airline industry and a passion for the natural world, Dena Lasater wanted to create a travel adventure that would satisfy the needs of fans. She was employed as a guide in the Olympic Peninsula when “Twilight fever”  broke out.  Dena read TWILIGHT and became intrigued with the characters living in this beautiful, rainy area.

As fans began flooding into Forks, Dena put together a plan. Her vision became a company called En Route to Adventure and a tour called Forks Adventures. Dena’s goal was to provide an experience that would satisfy curiosity about the setting of the book and the spots that were important in the characters’ day-to-day lives. She also wanted to share some of her favorite places and the natural wonders in the Olympic National Park and Forest.
