RJF Agencies actively donates time, resources and talent to 36 regional charities, and has made giving back to its communities a high priority for many years. RJF invites its employees to participate in multiple fund raising and service opportunities throughout the year, and it works: Most RJF employees participate in a charitable activity at least once during the year.
Jeatran has always believed that companies and individuals should support their communities, and this belief was crystallized 13 years ago. “Within 24 hours of my son John’s birth, he contracted meningitis and shortly afterward suffered kidney failure. Even after he pulled through, we weren’t sure if he was going to suffer lasting damage,” remembers Jeatran. “We are so grateful for the care John received. Today he is an active, healthy boy.”
This experience profoundly touched Jeatran and his wife. Jeatran evaluated his family’s and his company’s ability to support their communities, and initiated RJF’s charity committee. Supporting the community is a central tenet in RJF’s Values.
