Owning a dog is a huge commitment and with the current climate people can’t afford to stay at home and look after them.
The result, 100’s of dogs home alone which can have a seriously negative effect on our dog’s behaviour. A common effect being Separation Anxiety and bad behavioural problems.
How can we avoid leaving our dogs at home and still go about our every day routine? Simple, Dog Day Care.
Judy ...... and Deborah ....., are owners of Dogs2Mogs. They offer a fabulous day care centre for dogs based at St Luke’s Hall in Islington, London. They officially opened the doors on 8th June 2009 following the high demand from their clients. Dogs2Mogs has been running for 3 years now and they offer Dog walking services, Pet Sitting, Puppy Care and Cat Feeds.
We spoke to Judy and asked her to explain the benefits of the day care centre.
“This is a cost effective solution that pet owners have been crying out for. Our clients have reported back to us and said that within a week they have noticed a dramatic improvement with dogs that wouldn’t socialise with other dogs and ones with behavioural problems. We are aiming to run the day care centre like a school for dogs. This is a far better option than dog kennels”
Judy and Deborah intend to bring in packages for different dog types and fitness programmes for overweight dogs. Your canine friends will be walked, feed and generally kept active.
