By: Maria Belgado The new mobile site allows users to create meal plans from any mobile phone with Internet access. Members can access all the functionalities of the full site, including scheduling meals for the week, retrieving previously scheduled recipes and viewing their friend’s profiles. Users who may have forgotten to print out their shopping list for the week can easily obtain their online shopping list via their phone while they browse through the supermarket aisles. DinnerBeat’s founder, Liz Jimenez, created the site to help busy people save time by making it easy for users to plan meals. The free meal-planning website was released from beta 10 months ago and continues to grow exponentially. “Our members were clamoring for a mobile site, as many of them are often swamped in their daily lives and find themselves unable to sit down in front of a computer to do weekly meal planning,” says Jimenez, a mother of two. “Now they can figure out what’s for dinner wherever they may be – in between meetings, on the train from work or with their kids at the playground.” Current members can now access the site via their mobile device at http://m.dinnerbeat.com.
