CMC International is proud to now be shipping the newest MPSI TrafficMetrix 9.1 Traffic Count Data. A significant number of data points, over 50,264, were added for this 9.1 release.
The MPSI TrafficMetrix data provides the most extensive and current traffic count information available for the United States. With more than 1.5 million counts covering all areas and all types of roads, TrafficMetrix gives you the traffic volume information you need for routing, trade area analysis or mathematical modeling.
MPSI continuously updates its TrafficMetrix data with traffic information from almost 6,000 sources nationwide. All data is standardized and assembled into a common geographic database.
The geographies updated in this release are Anderson, IN, Raleigh-Cary, NC, and the Texas counties of Abilene, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa. Additionally, Department of Transportation updates for the state of Wisconsin have been incorporated.
MPSI painstakingly compiles TrafficMetrix from the hundreds of municipalities that measure traffic volume. The collected data are then standardized, geocoded, and aligned to the street networks for easy use within GIS software. TrafficMetrix is readily available in most GIS formats.
