York Fitness Sponsors Bodypower Expo Strongman

June 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Elite Strongman Promotions organised the Strongman Event at the Bodypower Expo at the NEC, Birmingham and enlisted York Fitness & BBE Boxing as one of the key Sponsors along with www.myprotein.com and www.Powperformancegear.com 10 British Strongmen including Dave Meer, Spencer Highland, Adam Townsend,Lawrence Shahlaei all competed. The final day included Log Press followed by the Tyre Flip then the Atlas Stones (sponsored by York Fitness) and then to finish them off the back to back pull. Dave Meer won the event by 1/2 a point. The Strongman event was watched throughout the final day by current British Strongest Man Jimmy Marku and Worlds Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski. York Fitness wish British Athletes Terry Hollands, Jimmy Marku and Mark Felix the best of luck when they travel to the USA for the qualifiers for the Worlds Strongest Man competition this week.
