Miles Technologies, a leading provider of business technology solutions, has been chosen by the Clifton Economic Development Assistance Commission (CEDAC) as a recipient of the 2009 Beautification Award.
Presented by the City of Clifton and the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Beautification Award is given to local businesses that have shown an outstanding effort in rebuilding or renovating their property, making the City of Clifton a better place to live and conduct business.
Miles Technologies purchased the Clifton building at 412 Main Avenue in 2008. Prior to the purchase of the building, the company was operating in the North Jersey region out of a small office in Hackensack, New Jersey. According to company officials, the sheer demand for technology solutions by area businesses warranted the purchase of a permanent location.
“Technology is at the core of nearly every business community, and Clifton is no exception,” reports Chris Miles, Chief Executive Officer of Miles Technologies. “It is a privilege not only to be part of this growing community, but to add value to the city’s economic and business climate.”
The Beautification Award will be given by the Mayor of Clifton and the City Council at City Hall on Tuesday, June 16th.
