WASHINGTON, D.C. --Mondo International, Inc. announces major advancements of on-ground capabilities in Afghanistan with the fortification of operational resources, management and organizational capacity. As a result, Mondo will now be able to best serve the real-time needs of customers ranging from the US Government, the Army and major suppliers and warehousers operating in Afghanistan.
Mondo International, Inc., is a worldwide organization that specializes in supply chain management, logistics, distribution and other services across the globe, specifically in war zones. Mondo is currently a designated Prime Vendor for the U.S. Department of Defense and Defense Logistics Agency. “We have dedicated ourselves to further building our core capabilities in Afghanistan. Now, we have optimized our program management operations and built a team of experts that can gauge the pulse of our customers and partners and deliver,” says Tommy Hakimi, Chief Executive Officer of Mondo International, Inc.
With the addition of several key leadership positions and initiatives, operational capacity on the ground in Afghanistan now includes expediting or overseeing construction projects and site surveys, building infrastructure, and meeting WTO standards. Mondo’s program management also includes implementing and executing turnkey projects from bid to final delivery and completion. “Our team in Afghanistan allows our customers to go to market with more confidence, speed and quality,” says Hakimi.
As a result of Mondo’s efforts, they can now partner with the government and other non-government entities in fulfilling surge infrastructure requirements, construction, transportation, distribution, security and logistics. Projects that will be positively impacted include building clinical health care structures and other basic human rights facilities in Afghanistan. Mondo also points out that as troop levels surge and insurgent activity in the South of Afghanistan increase, the military also needs additional operational support, supplies, equipment, additional fuels, ammo, etc. “Mondo is now in a position to offer operational resources and staffing to handle anything from security and customs clearance to construction, project/program management and all forms of transportation and distribution,”
