Wilkes University Receives a Set of Solar Panels at Local Energy Expo

June 15, 2009 - PRLog -- The Pocono Northeast Resource, Conservation, and Development Council from Mayfield, Pennsylvania awarded two solar panels to Wilkes University - Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences Department and The Institute for Environmental Science and Sustainability.  

The panels were awarded to Wilkes University to aid in the expansion of the alternative energy training that occurs as part of the environmental engineering and earth sciences degree programs. In addition, the panels will be used to facilitate independent research projects by students.
