SEAVIEW introduces a SELF LEVELING radar mount

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 15, 2009 - Seaview , the worldwide leader in electronic mounting systems, offers a new self leveling radar installation system. Designed to be mounted on a sail boat mast or on top of radar mast, this system allows for the radar to be always horizontal regardless of the boat's heel angle. By keeping the radome horizontal, the radar can "see" as far as its designed power allows.
The self levelling system is dampened by an oil bath, thus eliminating the sharp rolling movement of the boat.
The standard system is installed on the front of the boat's mast, and is secured to the mast by 12 stainless steel rivets. The pole mount unit is designed to be fitted on top of a radar mast, usually situated on the transom of the sail boat.
