New Songwriting Contest! Winner is flown to Nashville, TN.

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 14, 2009 – We’re very excited about our 2009 songwriting competition. It takes a lot of talent, hard work, and good connections to make it in the music industry. You’re bringing the talent and we’ll give you some of the tools you need to achieve your goal. By entering our contest you’re proving to yourself that you don’t just have dreams, you actually chase them.

This year we’ve lined up some really amazing sponsors. Dark Horse Recording has agreed to invite our Grand Prize Winner to record their winning song in their studio. This is by far one of the world’s most unique recording studios. We encourage you to take a look at their website and imagine the experience you may soon enjoy. With state of the art equipment and tranquil surroundings, you’ll fully understand why artists like Taylor Swift, Neil Diamond, Sister Hazel, Faith Hill, and many others choose this studio to record their hits.

Another one of our sponsors, Plaid Star Records, has agreed to donate one of their CD’s to each of our first 200 entries. In addition to that, they’ve generously agreed to meet with our winner and offer them a one song publishing contract. Plaid Star Publishing will add your tune to their catalog of songs currently available for sale to other Artists.

If our Grand Prize Winner lives more than 250 miles away from Nashville we’ll provide roundtrip airfare*. When you arrive in town you’ll need a little time to take in the scenery. With two nights’ accommodations you’ll have time outside of the studio work to take in some of Music City’s sights and sounds. Take a stroll down Broadway and listen to local artists; or take a tour through the Country Music Hall of Fame. Whatever you decide to do we are sure you will thoroughly enjoy the studio process as our winner.

Your transportation will be provided as you leave the city and head for the country. It’s just a short scenic drive outside of town to Franklin,TN. This is the home of Dark Horse Recording. Meeting with some of Nashville’s most talented studio musicians, we will start with a mini jam session to let our musicians get the feel of your song. As soon as everyone is on the same page, we bring the song to life during the recording phase. After this process our winner will have a “radio ready” CD to begin pitching their music.

One International Grand Prize Winner will also have a “radio ready” CD made for their winning song, fully produced by Plaid Star Records and Mastered by Nashville Audio and Mastering.

The objective of this competition is to bring our winners one step closer to living their dream.
