Lennar is urging prospective homebuyers not to take the risk and buy a used foreclosed home or a short sale when they can afford a brand new Lennar home. The homebuilder warns that short sales and foreclosed properties can have plenty of unforeseen problems and they can take months to finally close on the sale.
Now, prospective homebuyers have the opportunity to set their own price at Lennar’s Autumnwood Grove and Cobblestone Landing townhome communities.
At Lennar’s Autumnwood Grove several luxurious two to four-bedroom townhomes with plans ranging from 1,178 to 1,612 square feet of living space are available for purchase at a price qualified buyers can personalize to fit their budget. The community is conveniently located on US 98 South just minutes from Polk Community College and University of South Florida’s Lakeland campus.
Prospective buyers can also place their bids on several two and three-bedroom townhomes at Lennar’s Cobblestone Landing community. According to Metheny, winning bids must meet the reserve amount pre-determined by the seller. Buyers must pre-qualify with Universal American Mortgage Company, Lennar’s preferred lender, and be non-contingent, meaning they must be able to purchase a home they are bidding without selling another home first.
