Hallmark works with the finest artists and sculptors to re-create historic postage stamps as exquisitely engraved replicas, flawlessly minted in pure (.999) Swiss silver and layered with 24 carat gold. Each Hallmark Commemorative Issue is an authentic record of unique quality, prized by collectors throughout the world and a rare treasure to pass on to future generations. Never before in the modern era has the impact of India on the world been greater, and The Pride of India Collection is issued with the deepest respect and reverence for the history and culture of the nation that has made this happen.
First most important stamp ingot collection ever produced for India
The Pride of India Collection is the first and most important stamp ingot collection ever produced for India . It is a treasured heirloom to be passed from one generation to another, with 25 stamps chosen to be preserved forever as engraved solid pure silver ingots, layered with pure 24-carat gold.
The Pride of India Collection is an Official Programme of Hallmark India Private Limited issued under the Authority of Dept.. of Posts, Govt. of India. It is the first Stamp Ingot collection ever to be produced for India , and its release is strictly limited to 7,500 editions worldwide.
A rare collection of stamps from the archives of Dept.of Posts was selected to collectively showcase India ’s social, cultural, historical and artistic diaspora and thus feature eminent personalities, monuments, events of historical significance, pieces of art (paintings, motifs, dance etc), scientific strides and all such representations that truly evoke in us a sense of pride of being part of India . The entire programme has been introduced and endorsed by none other than Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, India ’s distinguished ex-President.
The 'Pride of India' collection is the latest addition to the international scene, and celebrates the unique culture and history of the world's greatest democracy, and the emergence of India as a world power.  
The Process
To ensure the highest quality, each precious image has been sculpted by the world's finest artists and minted by Swiss craftsmen. Pure silver ingots (Swiss .999) are placed in a huge 360 ton minting press and struck with massive pressure to bring out every tiny details of the original design. Perforations are precision diamond cut, and each stamp ingot is layered with pure 24-carat gold to create a perfect golden masterpiece.
How To Order

The Pride of India Collection is a strictly limited edition of only 7,500 complete collections worldwide. It is not available in any store or Post Office, but only by subscription. Once the edition limit is reached, the dies will be defaced so they can never be used again..

The stamp ingots are sent at the rate of one per month until the individual collection is complete, beginning within 30 days of receipt of an individual’s application. Though each stamp ingot will vary in size to conform to the original stamp, the price of each is fixed at Rs. 6,000, inclusive of all duties and taxes. This price is guaranteed through the period of issue and includes delivery and all accessories.

A subscription booking may be made in one of two ways: through helpline numbers  011-26207151/52/53 (Mon- Fri , 9.30 am to 5.30 pm)by requesting for a brochure and Order Form or through their website www.prideofindiacollection.com.
*Orders for only complete set of 25 ingots are accepted though customers are dispatched one ingot per month over a 25 month programme. However after the first 9 months or so, customers could get the entire balance ingots in one go if they so indicate this preference upfront.
Cost
The total cost of the Collection (comprising 25 ingots)is Rupees One Lac Fifty Thousand(inclusive of all taxes), with each ingot worth Six Thousand
