Nalco Acquires Enviroflo Engineering Limited

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 12, 2009 – Nalco Company - the world's leading water treatment and process improvement company - have recently completed th purchase of the Assets and Goodwill of Enviroflo Engineering Ltd (EEL). Nalco wish to extend their existing Dust Control business and this acquisition is aimed at the European Market, Middle East and North Africa and other regions.

Enviroflo Engineering are an established Dust Control company based in the UK and operating since 1978. Most of EEL’s activities are in the minerals handling and processing industry including quarry aggregates, coal, iron ore and metallic ore handling, etc. They also have considerable expertise in the application of filters to Asphalt plant dryers for producing bitumastic road surfacing materials. EEL can offer a range of filters suitable for application in the Biomass Energy and Energy from Waste industries.

Enviroflo have been acting as Engineering Agents for Nalco for a number of years - Nalco supply the Dust Control chemicals such as 'DustFoam™' and 'DustFoam Plus™' and EEL are responsible for the proper applications of these chemicals to a range of applications such as Quarry Aggregates, Steel Sinter, Bauxite Ore etc. Nalco will bring to EEL experience gained Worldwide in Coal Handling, Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Gold Ore and many other applications.
