Jun 12, 2009 – National Family Welfare Institution. INABIF is the main Public institution in charge of abandoned children, kids in process of adoption, teenager mothers, street kids, etc. Their role is to improve the life quality of the kids in risk. INABIF takes care of street kids, abandoned babies, or kids in the process of adoption. INABIF also works with teenager mothers. INABIF Pueblo Libre is the biggest and most well implemented house for kids. They take care of 70-90 kids ranging in age from 0 to 12 years old. A little first aid office is also located in their premises. INABIF Pueblo Libre is right next to the Public Hospital "Hospital Santa Rosa" where kids are transferred in the case of an emergency. In this sort of environment an extra set of helping hands is always necessary and welcome.
Volunteers can help by doing the following tasks: This organization needs therapist for kids with mental and physical problems. They also need assistance with the day to day activities of the kids. INABIF is also looking for teachers and volunteers to organizing games for the children during their break time after school. Volunteers must be of age 20or above with minimum education of Undergraduation. Volunteers with the following special skills are preferred for the placement:- Nurse Medical Student Pre-Med Student Emergency Medical Technician Standard First-Aid Physiotherapy Child & Youth Worker Early Childhood Education Recreational Programming Social Worker (BSW) Social Work Student Psychologist Psychology Student Day Care Work Crisis Counseling Teacher - English Social Worker (MSW) Massage Basecamp International Centers welcomes all the interested volunteers from around the world to volunteer and make a difference.
