In her primer Good Things Come to Those Who Weight, she says dieters can forget about counting calories. Instead, Olving’s approach is geared toward the “what, when and how” to incorporate proper food choices, exercise and common sense into a program that can work for anyone.
Her no-nonsense, simple guide tells how poor eating habits and bad food choices lead to extra pounds. She discloses the three sensations to help control eating, tells how to understand nutritional information on food labels and shows how to make the best choices possible when dining out. You’ll never look at food the same way again, as you learn to make responsible and healthy choices your whole family will appreciate.

About the Author:
Wendy Olving is a spokesperson for weight management classes at local businesses in northeast Pennsylvania. She has owned a deli, bakery and a catering business, and still weighs less than she did in high school. With a few simple changes in her eating habits, Olving lost 40 pounds and has kept it off for over 30 years. “I love to eat. This led me to learn how to cook, developing meals loaded with nutrition, yet low in fat and calories.” When her customers asked how she stays slim being around food all day, Olving began teaching. Her experience in nutrition and exercise inspired this book. She currently writes fulltime and is working on a novel.
