Now & Zen Group Adds Lifeworks And Block Headwear To Its Client Roster

June 12, 2009 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY - Now & Zen Group (NAZG), a boutique marketing communications agency that develops and manages multi-platform strategies to build and expand brand awareness and increase sales for their clients, is pleased to announce the addition of LifeWorks and Block Headwear to their growing portfolio of clients.  As the agency of record for each brand, NAZG will be responsible for handling publicity, strategic planning, product placement, media relations, celebrity outreach and special events for both brands.

LifeWorks signed a licensing agreement with iHome Licensing LLC under which LifeWorks produces a line of iHome branded products that integrate computer technology with the iPod® and iPhone®.  The breadth of the line, including keyboards, mice, webcams, headsets and notebook stands, appeals to all users, from the computer savvy to the everyday PC user.  iHome is the award-winning, number one brand of iPod® speaker systems. Supporting charitable concerns is key to LifeWorks corporate philosophy. Upon its inception, LifeWorks initiated a strategic partnership with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Foundation. As a result of this commitment, LifeWorks produced a special edition product line in the Foundation’s signature pink color. One dollar will be donated to the Foundation for every product sold with a minimum donation of $100,000.

LifeWorks believes everyone’s choices affect the environment.  All of their products comply with the RoHS directive. The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment" and it bans products containing more than agreed upon levels of substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, etc. LifeWorks’ packaging is also designed to serve this goal while maintaining a high quality.  All packaging consists of water or soy-based, non-toxic ink, recycled paper and PET plastic instead of PVC plastic.  LifeWorks Technology Group wants to make a positive impact and pledges continued commitment to the environment through the use of eco-friendly products and packaging.

Block Headwear was created by Cuban-born designer Ciomi McCabe, who grew up in the hat business. Her father served as CFO at Kangol and she spent 15 years working for the brand herself. Through her tenure there she amassed an unparalleled network of contacts within the headwear industry, from design and merchandising to production and sales. Having the desire to start her own headwear business, Ciomi launched Block Headwear in May 2000 out of New York where she and the company are based. In March 2006 Concept One Accessories acquired Block Headwear where Ciomi remains Founder and Head Designer of the brand.  Celebrity fans include Charlize Theron, Fergie, Will Smith, Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon.
