Bagslag is a new quirky women’s bag label attracting shrewd but shameless
bag-aholics. The label launches it’s first collection in July 2009. All bags are handmade using
soft - handle real leather with antique finished zips and trims. Creative pattern-cutting techniques
give each bag a fresh look. Linings are cut from luxurious fabrics. Bagslag designs are edgy, but
practical. The collection is produced in limited
numbers to retain exclusivity.
Bagslag evolved in 2003 by Lee Sylvester. Lee wanted to create a bag for herself that other
women would drool over! “It had to give me the upper edge on everyone else’s bag. It’s
one-upmanship!”

she wanted to focus on her passion for bags.
The latest style in the Bagslag collection is The Tracey bag. This has become a signature piece
for the label. It’s made from a spiral cut piece of leather fastened together with a long zip
wrapping around the bag. Each colour exudes a different attitude for the day or night.
Bagslag are launching in July 2009.
