FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jun 11, 2009 – The AMT (http://TheAMT.com/) has nearly 1000 practising member who specialise in Meridian Energy Therapies, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and EmoTrance. Many of these practitioners and trainers have noticed a real increase in the number of stress related clients who blame the credit crunch for their current emotional state.

Nicola Quinn, author of Life Without Panic Attacks and a Director of The AMT explains “For sufferers of panic attacks, the focus is always on the future. And now with the economic uncertainties there are new What Ifs to add to the pot. What if I can't keep up my house repayments, what if I lose my job, what if I can't afford to feed my children, what if my electricity is cut off. Fearing the future will not stop it happening. In fact the more fear you have the more stressed you will be which makes clear thinking and good decision making impossible.”

The book chronicles Nicola's steps that she took to overcome 15 years of panic attacks and can be used to help sufferers to change their lives for the better. An estimated 12 million people in the UK suffer from panic attacks, a number that has continued to grow in this recession. A panic attack is simply a peak of anxious sensations. It occurs when anxious reactions result in real physical manifestations, so it is easy to see how money trouble could cause an attack in anyone.

AMT Practitioners can be found in 21 countries around the world, so there is no shortage of help available for sufferers of panic attacks in this current economic climate. EFT, the most popular Energy treatment for panic attacks works just like acupuncture, but instead of needles you “tap” with your fingers on the meridian energy points.

AMT Trainer Kim Bradley (http://www.EmotionalFreedom-Training.co.uk/) explains that money issues are “like a lead weight bearing down on a person, causing stress and anxiety. This in turn can make it very difficult for a solution to the money problems to be found. If Meridian Therapies are used this emotional weight can be lifted, the situation can be seen clearly and solutions become evident.”

To learn more about The AMT you can visit the website http://TheAMT.com/ and various experienced practitioners are available for interviews, including Life Without Panic Attacks author & AMT Director Nicola Quinn.

Life Without Panic Attacks is published by DragonRising (http://DragonRising.com/) and is available from the publishers website as well as all good bookshops and Amazon (http://Amazon.co.uk/ ).
