It is high-power, low-profile, able to serve both wired and wireless networks, and remotely manageable when connected to a 4ipnet Controller. The simplistic yet chic design of EAP700 allows it to blend into a working or a living environment practically and stylishly.
The compact EAP700 in a small form factor lays snug in a standard wall outlet box, and hides the wall cutout with its faceplate. For organizations that are already wired for Ethernet access and looking to add a wireless connection, EAP700 comes with the interfaces for both wired and wireless access. Its front panel features LED status indicators and a RJ45 wall jack. With RJ45 connector on the front, EAP700 further brings in network access flexibility - a user can connect to the Internet at his choice, wired or wireless!
The PoE-capable EAP700 has the benefit of running fewer cables in the duct. The Power over Ethernet (PoE) LAN port on the front of EAP700 serves as the power feed as well as the wired network feed. Optionally, it can also be powered via an AC adapter when PoE switch is not available on site. By utilizes thin AP technology, EAP700 stands for low costs, high performance, industrial-standard wireless security, and seamless integration into the existing wired network.
Standalone, EAP700 is an easy-to-install and cost-effective solution for most of indoor wireless deployments, including hotel rooms, apartments, offices, classrooms, libraries, private homes, public kiosks, etc. When connected to one of 4ipnet Controllers, the combined network turns into an intelligent building solution, a managed Internet service, or a Wi-Fi hotspot network of various scales.
