Radio Talent launches podcast series

Radio Talent the recruitment and identification website today have launched the first in a series of podcasts for the radio industry.

The primary goals of the podcasts are to offer help and guidance to everyone who works in radio by offering informative content which answers prudent questions.

Hosted by Howard Ritchie the first series conducts interviews with some of the most significant radio decision makers in radio. Howard says “I have spent my career running up and down the country having meetings with major players, I wanted to bring their knowledge to everyone so that they can save time and effort getting the Intel they need”
The team at Radio Talent claim to be presenting interviews aimed at management and talent alike and according to them, the podcasts are designed to offer fresh insights into becoming successful in the world of radio.

Howard Ritchie goes on to say “The amount of weekly calls we get saying – how do I get to Radio 1, how do I become successful, how do I get a job at Heart, how do I become a radio presenter, a voiceover and so on, I decided to condense things and create a series very cheaply which will offer no nonsense guides for these people”

Radio Talent have gained knowledge from many of their partners such as the Executive producer of Radio 1, Ex GCAP boss Dirk Anthony and Heart’s national group programme director.

“As the series continues, we will be focusing in a number of areas, this series specifically offers a powerful introduction into the series, but also provides essential career Intel which might otherwise take someone years to gather”..”There is no doubt that getting ahead in radio is more than just being talented, its about learning what is required of you, how your clients think, and what mindsets you need to employ to win them over” “Frankly speaking for £12.99 I am saving everyone’s petrol and train fares running around trying to get meetings with these top decision makers.

The company will be embarking on a further series of interviews but have also planned some critical management and talent training podcasts which will serve to develop more seasoned or experienced artists and industry leaders. Howard, who is a master practitioner in a number of Neuro Sciences claims he has been studying the philosophy of success for more than 12 years. Radio Talent intend to share important human development principals and strategies with subscribers so that they can be directly applied to their careers in radio and their quests for success.

Howard and the team explained that podcasts are the fastest way to learn today, and as people spend so much time in their cars, they feel the podcasts were the natural next step for the operation and delivering value to the industry.
