Bloomfield, Township Michigan Adopts First Platinum Clearzoning Ordinance in the U.S.

June 10, 2009 - PRLog -- The Bloomfield Township, Michigan Board of Trustees has adopted the first Clearzoning Platinum Zoning Code in the country.   This new zoning ordinance format will improve customer service and enhance the Township's ability to promote quality economic development.

Rod Arroyo, President of Clearzoning, said, "Clearzoning Platinum further enhances the zoning ordinance by expanding the use of color zoning illustrations and hyperlinking to online application forms, state law references, and other Township resources.  This Clearzoning ordinance will set a new standard for effectively communicating zoning requirements with the public."

Township Planning, Building, & Ordinance Director Patti Voelker said, "The Township is very excited with the adoption of the new Platinum Clearzoning Code. The reformatting of our zoning ordinance further advances the Township's ability to provide excellent tools for both our residential and business communities."

The new Clearzoning code will work seamlessly with the Township's Code of Ordinances via a hyperlink accessible through the Township's web site: www.bloomfieldtwp.org.
