This organisation provide shelter, education, food, clothing and basic education to children in the Swedru Area. Their goal is to ensure that all children have to chance to a happy and healthy upbringing. Christ Outreach Orphanage is in desperate need of volunteers. Currently there are 57 children who are registered with the orphanage and only two full-time workers. Although they have a few community volunteers that come to assist they are definately short staffed. Volunteers can assist by doing following tasks:-
Volunteers will be needed to help wash, feed and care for the children. There is also a small school set up at the orphange where volunteers can teach various subjects and implement educational games. Volunteers are needed to help create a cirriculium for the teachers at the orphange. Volunteers must be of age 18 or above with minimum education of high school.
