smeepe.net Offers Free Listings for First 5,000 Registered Vendors

--Businesses use smeepe.net to expand marketing reach in tough economy--

June 9, 2009 - PRLog -- Switzerland--Swiss-based cobaserv AG today announced the search is on for top vendors across the U.S., U.K. and Europe to sign up for its newest company, smeepe.net.  smeepe founders believe businesses taking a hit from the recession will take advantage of the free opportunity to market their services to a broader range of customers.  The free internet platform brings together the ability to search for vendors of every conceivable business planning and event service, as well as IT and Social Media.

Designed for users to be able to quickly and conveniently find the best vendor to meet business or personal planning, event and project needs, smeepe.net is free for users and free for the first 5,000 vendors who list their services.

"What's significant is that smeepe.net is a powerful platform for users to rate vendors and to give feedback--positive and negative--to help others with their selection process," said co-founder and CEO Danielle Grossi, who projects smeepe will become the Amazon of services.  "We're looking for vendors who are outstanding in their category.  smeepe.net will not allow vendors to buy ratings or bold listings, and will not list vendors who suck!"

smeepe.net was designed as an easy, searchable way to connect potential customers with the right vendors for every project.  The site is clear and straightforward, allowing users to click on the 'search vendor' option to get a list of all the existing vendors in the company’s database, or to enter a specific search query.  Users are able to filter by location and can rate, comment, share and save any vendor profiles, as well as retain the details by exporting or emailing the profiles.  The smeepe online resource offers benefits for vendors, including more visibility for their products and services.

Grossi, who has worked in IT for more than a decade, said, "Our target users embrace new ways of doing business with leading technology. They are the audience who will use smeepe.net for finding IT & social media vendors, planning corporate events, and international meetings, and for saving time and money with the most efficient means available--smeepe.net."

In lieu of issuing a standard news release, smeepe.net founders recently launched the company by using a few key twitter messages.  In a convincing demonstration of Twitter's power as a networking tool, Richard Markel, director with the Association for Wedding Planners International, followed smeepe founder Grossi on Twitter and offered to assist with vendor recruitment and to connect smeepe with a network of 60,000 potential members.

Another benefit for users is the relationship smeepe has forged as eventtrack's first integration partner in a technology mashup that creates a central location where anyone can follow a collective stream of information, including videos, photos, links, blogs, or conversations.  By creatively combining multiple open source technologies and many open standards, eventtrack aggregates user-generated content across more than 20 services.  eventtrack enables smeepe to provide event organizers with a holistic view of how events are perceived by their attendees.  It also makes it easy for attendees to share their content from conferences, product launches and other business or personal events.

smeepe.net was recently named as a killer start-up.
