“CapitalSys”- Time Warner To Divorce AOL.

“CapitalSys”, By the end of 2009 Time Warner wants to separate from AOL.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun 09, 2009 -
“CapitalSys” technology correspondent reporting from America.

Time Warner Inc is to separate from AOL by the end of the year. Time Warner purchased AOL in a blaze of publicity a few years ago when AOL was a leader in the internet field. However Time Warner has not been able to continue AOL’s success and it has now become a burden.

Analyst at “CapitalSys” knew for some time that this was going to happen, as Time Warner has not made it a secret. But now Time Warner has put a timescale on the process as the idea of separating the companies has been approved by the board.

“The idea is to go back to pre-merger days and make AOL a separate entity from Time Warner. The idea is to let AOL focus on what it does best and vice versa,” explains tech analyst for “CapitalSys”.

Its believe that AOL strengths have been stifled a lot with the merger as Time Warner tried to run it as a traditional media company. In reality is AOL needs to be run as an internet media company, something Time Warner had no experience in.

“CapitalSys” reports that AOL can still be a force to reckon with, it depends how they separate the company. They have a huge subscriber base that they can tap into if they offer the right product or service.  But without doubt the best thing for Time Warner is to go its own way. It’s thought that when they spilt AOL they will look for a buyer to take over.
