The first home game is not scheduled until November 6, however the Pensacola Ice Flyers's marketing team has been working around the clock seven days a week. He has a plan to get to the finish line and keeps everyone in the game with a determination to accomplish their goals."
This week the team has stepped up their presence in the community with media advertising and will open up ticket locations in some high traffic areas.
Roy Wilkerson, President of the Pensacola Ice Flyers Boosters says the team is right on target and has to average 22 season tickets a day to meet the county commission directive of selling 1250 seats. The Booster organization is supplying volunteers to help sell the tickets.
We hope our press conference on Friday will show Pensacola the determination and efforts Tim is making to play this year. In the past week the team added two corporate sales people, Ohio State graduate Chuck McCartney, a veteran marketer having started with the Ice Pelicans and two years with the Ice Pilots and Aaron Epstein, a graduate of the University of West Florida, with a Masters degree in Sports Management from Mississippi State," Siskind continued. Tim stated that both guys were dedicated and smart sports professionals.
There are many ticket and finance plans availabe including flex ticket packages for half and full season. Tickets start at $10 and kids 16 and under 1/2 price. Tickets can be purchased at www.pensacolaiceflyers.com or at the Pensacola Civic Center. All deposits for tickets will be held in the county escrow account until the team reaches the 1250 tickets.
