ChildBook’ s Chinese coloring pictures can give kids quiet time, and an opportunity for mom or dad to share a story or two about the Chinese pictures being colored.
ChildBook.com, a Learn-Chinese bookstore for children, has been continually updating the Chinese coloring pictures for children. Coloring is a great way for children to learn about the Chinese culture and language, so the section is regularly updated with pictures about Chinese festivals, kids, animals and other icons from Chinese culture.
Here are some themes for the Coloring Pages Section:
Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year Coloring pictures depicting the Chinese New Year traditions are quite extensive. Details about Chinese New Year customs are included in the selection, such as Cleaning the House during New Year, picture of the Kitchen God, gate gods, dragon dances, lion dances, fire works and family feasts are included.
Dragon Boat Festival. There are also nice coloring pictures for kids to learn more about the the Dragon Boat Festival. Pictures of the dragon boat races, the food and charms, preparing before the race, and more coloring pictures are available.
Lunar Festival. Coloring pictures showing moon festival icons can also be colored. Includes Chang Er the Lady in the Moon, Hou Yi her husband, Jade Rabbit and the Jade Emperor are among the many pages that can be downloaded and printed.
Chinese kids, animals, other culture. A favorite page among the kids. Kids love coloring the pictures of the Chinese children, favorite animals and cultural icons, such as Monkey King.
